l’Ocse segnala:

Substantial differences exist between countries in teacher beliefs about how teaching should be delivered: In most countries teachers see their job as helping students actively to develop and construct their knowledge rather than concentrate on transmitting content only (among the TALIS countries, the exception is Italy where only a minority endorses this view).

A quanto pare, dunque, gli insegnanti italiani si fanno notare per la convinzione secondo la quale l’insegnamento è la trasmissione di conoscenze piuttosto che la coltivazione delle capacità degli studenti di alimentarsi di conoscenze.
